This year they have planned to organise Southern State level Cricket from 27th to 30th December 2010 at chennai, in collaboration with Cheran Region Christian Society(CRCS) for the disabled and Department of Social Work, Madras Christian College,chennai. Persons with Visual impairment from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh will be participating in the event.

India has ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN
CRPD) and has undertaken the obligation to ensure and promote the full realization of all
human rights and fundamental freedoms for all Persons with Disabilities without
discrimination of any kind on the basis of disability. In fulfilment of this international
commitment, the country is obligated to enact suitable legislation in furtherance of the
rights recognized in the UN Convention.
