ASARE – SACADA Swimming Championship – 2015

A state level competition for Mentally Challenged Swimmers

Place : MAHE, Manipal Swimming Pool, Manipal Swimming Pool, Udupi, District
Date :08-02-2015, Sunday

The following Competitions will be held for both Male & Female swimmers of Higher and Lower Ability separately in the following Age Groups in accordance with Swimming Federation of India (S.F.I) Rules:

AGE GROUPS:

1. Open Men & Women: 18 Years & above (Born on or before the year 1996)
2. Group – 1 Boys & Girls: 15, 16 & 17 yrs. (Born in the years 1997, 1998 & 1999)
3. Group – 2 Boys & Girls: 13 & 14 yrs. (Born in the years 2000 & 2001)
4. Group – 3 Boys & Girls: 11 & 12 yrs. (Born in the years 2002 & 2003)
5. Group – 4 Boys & Girls: 9 & 10 yrs. (Born in the years 2004 & 2005)

ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE:

• Only the swimmers of above mentioned age group will be eligible to take part in the championships.
• The Age Certificate and the Disability Certificate duly signed by the Head of the Educational Institution ‘OR’ First Class Magistrate ‘OR’ Municipal Corporation must be submitted along with the Entry Forms
• Entry Forms shall be neatly typed/written giving the details of the Name of the Competitors, Date of Birth, Age

Swimming Events

DISCIPLINE DURING THE COMPETITION:-

1. Events will be conducted according to the rules and regulations of S F I.
2. Swimmers who produce wrong Birth Certificates & Wrong Disability Certificate (If proved) will be banned from further Competition.
3. Those Competitors who infringe the FINA RULES are liable for disqualification.
4. Referee’s decision shall be the FINAL.

ENTRIES:

• One Swimmer can take part in a maximum of 2 events.
• All races will be conducted only on TIME TRIAL BASIS and hence school / clubs are requested to send proper timings of their swimmers to seed them properly.
• All Clubs are required to send their entries before the last date to enable us to draw up the Heats/Line up in advance for the smooth conduct of the meet.
• The Last Date for the sending the entry is 02 February 2015. Late entries & entries on deck will not be accepted under any circumstances.
• Food will be provided to the participants and the team managers/assistants.
