The Jivana Jyoti Institutes were started by ICSA to equip the physically-challenged persons with government approved training in computer and electroniJivana Jyotics. Currently, we have three branches. We are the recipients of the ‘Best Institution Award’ from the Government of Tamilnadu in 2001. Jivana Jyoti campaigns for social acceptance, governmental protection and equal treatment in the employment market for the physically-challenged; encouraging employers to recruit differently-abled people and creating awareness to construct disabled-friendly buildings

1. Jivana Jyoti, Egmore:

This was started by ICSA in 1987 and is housed in the ICSA Centre on a disabled-friendly building with ramps and elevators. Courses offered are recognized by the NCVT, government of India.

2. Jivana Jyoti, Manapakkam:

Started in 2008, it offers a one-year course “Corporate Secretaryship”, recognized by the government of Tamilnadu

ICSA is a national ecumenical organization. The areas of involvement of ICSA include finance and property management, manufacture and supply of essential medicines, training and rehabilitation of physically challenged in futuristic skills, publication.

n 1989, ICSA responded to the challenge of making available high quality drugs at cost price to poor patients. ICSA promoted the CMSI to carry on this work on a ‘not for profit’ basis. CMSI actively campaigns for rational drug use, essential and generic drug prescription, drug quality and cost-effective healthcare, through seminars, consultations and publications CMSI manufactures and supplies over 65 drugs in strips, blister and bulk packing. CMSI manufactures only essential drugs, as classified by WHO. We maintain aseptic quality standards and possess the Good Manufacturing Practice [GMP] certification, as per WHO norms. The drugs are supplied only in their generic names and the sale is restricted to charitable work only. Currently, CMSI drugs are utilized by over 2000 charitable hospitals and projects all over India.
