Larencce Charitable Trust is a voluntary organization located in Chennai,registered under the Indian Trust Act in the year 2006. (Reg. No. 1607 / 2006).

The Mission of the Trust is to reach out its charitable activities to the differently abled, Orphan / abandoned children and also persons below poverty line by providing medical, educational and livelihood support to uplift them in their lives towards self reliance irrespective of their age, caste, creed or community.

The Chairman of the Trust Mr.R.Lawrence, well known director, actor, choreographer of the south film industry is a renowned person who has committed himself towards social welfare activities for the upliftment of socially, economically and physically challenged persons below poverty line and he has been relentlessly working by way of providing various help for achieving the objectives of the Trust.

Home For Physically Challenged

he Trust has established Shelter Home at Valasaravakkam, Chennai for 40 differently abled persons below poverty line. The trust is taking care of their food, accommodation, medical expenses, educational fees for their day to day survival and rehabilitation

Dance Traning for Differently Abled

R.Larencce identified such talents among the physically challenged youth Below Poverty Line, who approached him for help. He took keen interest in Larencce Charitable Trustgrooming their talent and building their self confidence. He trained them in Dance since 2005. He also provided Residential support and Rehabilitation to the Youth and transformed his home to a trust, for the same cause.

Educational Help For Differently Abled

The Trust has provided Educational support to 19 disabled personspursuing various courses viz., MSc. I.T., B.E., B.Com., and BSc., Computer Science by remitting School/College fees and other necessities required for pursuing their education.

Livelihood Support to Differently Abled

The Trust provided livelihood support to various differently abled individuals across remote villages in Tamil Nadu

Medical Support

The Trust has been providing Medical help to differently abled totally 29 persons, seven persons are given Varma Treatment and 22 persons are given various treatments viz., physiotherapy, Neurotherapy, siddha and spinal injury treatments and this Trust has extended its help to hearing impaired also by providing hearing aid machines.
