Little Hearts Residential Special School

Our gesture towards the rehabilitation of the mentally challenged children and adults took shape in ‘Little Hearts Residential Special School’. This goes way back to the year 1996. Over the years, we too have grown with our children. We now provide education / training and vocational rehabilitation for 130 children and adults. Our endeavour has borne fruit, thanks to the generous donations by our various well-wishers. It is gratifying to know that there are still people out there willing to lend a hand. And it is this patronage that we look forward to, in the future as well.

Harsh, but true. What is more harsh is the uncaring, indifferent attitude subjected to the mentally challenged. Being differently-abled, does not in any way make them disabled. All they need is a hand that helps, and a heart that cares.

Our efforts stem from an urgent need – to render a kind rehabilitation service to the mentally challenged who are neglected from the community & institutions, and the society at large. This is the driving force behind all that we do, in whatever little way we can.

Little Hearts Parents Association
Just like any other school, we too have a Parents Association. The Association aims at supporting the overall activities of Little Hearts. It is a good platform for interaction between the School and the Parents. The support that the Parents provide, is very heartening and encouraging.
