Person with Disability who is economical conditions are poor and unable to maintain himself with food clothing and shelter and could not meet other basic needs is paid monthly maintenance allowance of Rs.400 per month Around 4.00 lakhs persons with disabilities are available this benefit and Annual budgetary burden on the exchequer is around Rs.200 crores.
A sum of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) as an assistance towards the reimbursement of cost of spectacles for Differently Abled persons.
A sum of Rs.6,000/- @ Rs.1,000/- per month for Delivery and Rs.3,000 for miscarriage/termination of pregnancy is given to female Differently Abled person
A sum of Rs.2, 000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) is given to meet the marriage expenses of the applicant or his son or daughter.
Scholarship for Son and Daughter of Differently Abled Persons
A sum of Rs.15,000/- is given as assistance on the Natural Death of a Differently Abled person.
Financial Assistance to meet the Funeral Expenses of Differently abled persons – Rs. 2000
Accident relief given to Differently Abled persons upto a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Death). Loss of both Legs / both hands / one hand and one leg / loss of sight in both eyes – Rs.1,00,000/
