Festival Regulations

1. Do the best of the applicant’s Knowledge, all of the statements below are accurate.
2. Read the guidelines and rules & regulation for applying to the 1st International Film Festival For Persons with Disabilities carefully.
3. The applicant is duly authorized, on his/her behalf and on the behalf of any person or entity that has ownership rights in the work, to submit it to the Festival and the applicant can represent that this submission is not in violation of any law nor violates any right of said person or entity or that of any third party in any manner whatsoever.
4. The “1st International Film Festival For Persons with Disabilities”, its officers, as well as any of its fiscal sponsors and affiliated entities is not responsible, for any damage to, or loss of, any materials submitted by the applicant, whether that damage occurs en route to or from the Festival or during the course of the Festival’s possession, any loss caused to the film material or otherwise, in or during the Festival or of said materials.
5. Submission guidelines
   • The First edition of 1st International Film Festival for Persons with Disabilities is accepting film work
   • Submitted in following criteria only
     1. Feature Films – Fiction features with a duration of more than 60 minutes.
     2. Documentary Films – With a duration of less than 60 minutes and more than 20 minutes.
     3. Short Films – With a duration of more than 5 minutes and less than 20 minutes.

Submission Deadline – 25 September 2015

Rules & Regulations

• Open to all interested applicants.
• The film must be duly subtitled in English.
• The film must be produced in the last 5 years preceding the Festival.
• The film must be sent not later than 25 September 2015.
• Al scriveners must be submitted ONLINE or in DVDͬ / BLU-RAY format or in USB Drive only. The applicant must ensure that the Online links do not have an expiry date, as the viewing process is done over a period of over 40 days.
• Final screening material must comply with festival technical standards.
• The applicant must ensure that they have the right to participate in the 1st International Film Festival for Persons with Disabilities with regard to parties connected with the production distribution of the participating film and ͬ or other right holders licenses.
• 1st International Film Festival For Persons with Disabilities IFFPD can use parts of the received materials for advertising purposes and in future to show the past credentials of IFFPD up to 3 minutes.
• The applicants must ensure that the film submitted by them with the IFFPD must have a ‘U’ or ‘U/A’ censor certificate. The film without ‘U’ or ‘U/A’ censor certificate will not be accepted ͬ/
  exhibited in the Festival. In the case of International Films an equivalent certification would be required.
• Along with the application the applicant has to send/ upload filmmaker’s photograph (300 dpi) and film stills in digital format.
• Please ensure that the address ͬ email shared in the application is correct as it may be used by film festival office for communication.
• Please send in your DVD/BLU-RAY/USB Drive (in specified format) to the following address
