All India Confederation of the Blind – Youth Workshop for the visually impaired
Date: 24th September, 2016 – 25th September, 2016.
Venue : ICSA Centre , No .107, Pantheon Road, Egmore, Chennai-600008 Tamil Nadu, India
This youth workshop has been sponsored by the Christoffel Blindenmission and is the second in the series. First such workshop was held in Indore on 11th and 12th June this year. In this connection, AICB (Tamil Nadu) request to nominate 5 active Visually Impaired youth who are above 18 and below 35 from organization. There should be at least 2 visually impaired women out of five participants from each organization. The medium of the instructions/lecture shall be Tamil.
Through this training Workshop , the participants are expected to learn:
- To identify their potentials and improve their leadership skills
- To enable them to take up responsibilities in their respective organization.
- To enable them to promote advocacy work in an organization of the blind.
- To make them better informed about their career opportunities.

Instruction
1. Arrangements for the accommodation have been made from 24th to 25th September at ICSA Centre, No .107, Pantheon Road, Egmore, Chennai-600008.
2. The out stationed participants are entitled to get to & fro AC 3 tier concessional train fare by providing the photocopy of the train ticket.
3. Maximum 1 escort is allowed for 5 participants.
