From the Elementary class level up to the Senior class level, importance is given to academic training. The five areas of training are reading, writing, number, money and time. The children who exhibit academic ability and show interest in learning are segregated and trained in the normal school syllabus in a limited way. So far three students have completed their 8th standard government examination and one is preparing for the 8th standard examination.

தமிழ்நாடு வீட்டுவசதி வாரியத்தின் திட்டங்களின், மனை / வீடு / அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்பு ஒதுக்கீட்டில், மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் 1 விழுக்காடு இட ஒதுக்கீட்டை 3 விழுக்காடாக உயர்த்தி வழங்க எனது தலைமையிலான அரசு முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது என்பதை தமிழக முதலமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதா தெரிவித்துள்ளர்.
11 homes are established in Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Erode, Trichy, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Madurai, Coimbatore, Vellore, Tiruvarur and Salem to provide food, shelter and rehabilitation services to 50 mentally ill inmates .
Mentally ill persons wandering in the streets and other publicplaces are rescued and admitted in Hospitals/Rehabilitation Home for the Mentally ill.
