மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு அடையாள அட்டை வழங்குதல். மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு, மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான தேசிய அடையாள அட்டைகள், மாவட்ட மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் நல மையங்கள் மூலமாக வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

Free bus pass ( Concession ) for differently abled
All categories of Differently Abled persons are permitted to travel throughout the State by paying 25% of the cost of the ticket and thereby availing 75% of the cost of the ticket as concession without any restriction on number of trips.
Maintenance Allowance to Deverely Differently Abled Persons
Maintenance allowance is given at the rate of Rs.1,000/- per month to the severely Differently Abled persons who cannot be rehabilitated by any other assistance. The Allowance is sent through “ “Core Banking system” to their bank account.

அதிசயம்தான் சார். இவ்வளவையும் சர்வசாதாரணமாகச் செய்கிற நிக்கிற்கு இரண்டு கைகளும் இல்லை. இரண்டு கால்களும் இல்லை!
1982-ம் வருடம் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவில் நிக் பிறந்தபோதே அவருக்குக் கைகள், கால்கள் இல்லை. வெறும் உடம்பு மட்டும்தான். இதற்கு என்ன மருத்துவக் காரணம் என்று இதுவரை யாருக்கும் தெரியவில்லை.
வெற்றி வீரன் நிகிடோ!
ஒரு அசைவை மட்டுமே தினமும் தீவிரமாக பயிற்சி செய்து வந்தான்.
கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒரு ஆண்டுக்கு பின், மாஸ்டர் அவனது முதல் பந்தயத் தொடருக்கு நிகிடோவை அழைத்துச் சென்றார். வியப்பூட்டும் விதமாக, முதல் இரண்டு போட்டிகளிலும் நிகிடோ மிக எளிதாக வெற்றி பெற்றான். மூன்றாவது போட்டி சற்றே கடினமாக இருந்தது. சிறிது நேரத்திற்கு பிறகு நிகோடோவின் ஒரே மாதிரியான ஜூடோ அசைவால் பொறுமையிழந்த எதிர்தரப்பு வீரர், அவனை ஆக்ரோஷமாகத் தாக்கத் தொடங்கினார்.
கைகள் இல்லையெனில் உலகம் இருண்டு விடாது!
எங்கள் கவனத்தைக் கூர்படுத்தி, காலால் அல்லது வாயால், ஓவியம் வரைவது மட்டுமே’ என்கின்றனர் சிலர். இதில், பெண்களும் அடக்கம். கேரளா, போத்தனிக்காட்டில் பிறந்தவர் ஸ்வப்னா அகஸ்டின். கைகள் இல்லாமல் பிறந்தவர். அதை இவர், குறையாகவே கருதவில்லை. எல்லா வேலைகளையும் காலாலேயே செய்யப் பழகிக் கொண்டார். எழுதுவது, ஓவியம் வரைவது என, கற்றுத் தெளிந்தார்.
கல்விக்காக ரூ.39 கோடி ஒதுக்கீடு
பள்ளிகளில் படிக்கும் மாற்றுத்திறனாளி மாணவர்களுக்கு மருத்துவ முகாம் உட்பட பல்வேறு வசதிகளை செய்துதர, நடப்பாண்டில் (2010-2011) 39.03 கோடி ரூபாயை அரசு ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது. பார்வையற்ற, காது கேளாத, வாய் பேசாத, இதர குறைபாடுடைய மாற்றுத்திறனாளி மாணவர்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து, இவர்களுக்கு நடப்பாண்டு பட்ஜெட்டில் அரசு நிதி ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது.

Marriage assistance is given to Differently Abled person who marries a Differently Abled person; Total Assistance is Rs.25,000/-. If any one of the Differently Abled person is holding degree or Diploma, the Marriage Assistance amount is Rs.50,000/-;
Marriage Assistance for Speech and Hearing Impaired Person
Marriage Assistance is given to normal person marrying Speech and Hearing Impaired persons . Total assistance given is Rs.25,000/- If either the Differently Abled person or normal person is holding degree or Diploma, the Marriage Assistance amount is Rs.50,000/-;
