The Interschool Talent Contest for differently able students.

Soroptimist International of Chennai has been conducting Interschool Oratorical Contests exclusively for students with Learning Disabilities as an annual feature since 2003. Students of some of the city’s special schools have been participating in the contest. The aim of the contest is to encourage students with Learning Disabilities to participate in such activity, since such opportunity is otherwise not available to them.

According to the department of differently abled welfare, those seeking new national identity cards or renewal of old identity cards are entitled to apply with required proofs of residence, family card, electoral identity card, bank pass book, along with two passport-size photographs.
