Bhati Varun Singh won the Brown’s Medal in the men’s high jump T-42 event at the Rio Paralympics with a best effort of 1.86m distance.
Varun Singh Bhati is a Para high jumper and one of India’s top athletes in his sports. Varun recorded a jump of 1.82m at the 2016 IPC Athletics Asia-Oceania Championship where he won a gold as well as setting a new Asian Record
At the Rio Paralympics, he won the Brown’s medal in the men’s high jump T42 finals, with a leap of 1.86m
