Indian and Tamil Government order details for differently abled persons
In the recent past, the Government have received a number of representations from persons with disability, highlighting the problem being faced by them due to nonavailability of invalid carriages in the market as well the policy of banning alteration in motor vehicles under Section 52 of the motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

Section-47(1) & 47(2), 48(c), 67(1) & 67(2) of PWD Act’1995 have following provisions to safeguard the rights of disabled Government employees and to ensure equal rights/participation.
