A total of 2,057 participated in the camp held in Veppur union, of which assistance was distributed to 1,474 instantly; another 1,612 participated in the camp held at Veppanthatti union of which 1,316 were given assistance. The third camp held in Perambalur union witnessed the participation of 1,486 differently abled of which 1,346 were given assistance at once. He said of the 1,356 persons who attended today’s camp, assistance was provided to 1,072 beneficiaries.
