The concerned authorities should consider the PWDs on top priority basis. It may be given either to individual PWD or a group of PWDs considering the volume of work.
Thus it is imperative that development efforts around the world include disability issues when determining policies, programmes, as well as allocating funds for developmental programmes and projects. Mainstreaming disability in development is a strategy for achieving equality for persons with disabilities.

The enactment of the people with disabilities, equal opportunities and protection of Right Act of 1995 is a landmark legislation and an expression of India’s commitment of social justice.
The degree of evolvement of a society is gauged by the manner in which it cares for those on its fringes or those placed at any kind of disadvantage vis-a-vis the rest of society at large due to force of circumstances such as birth, age or disability. A truly compassionate society makes allowances for such infirmities in a non-intrusive, participative and sensitive manner, ensuring equal opportunities to all by providing a level playing field.
The Central Government informed the Delhi High Court that equal benefits for postal life insurance will be provided to the differently-abled government employees with a maximum limit of Rs 5,00,000.
Under the Scheme for Public Sector Banks for Orphanages, Women’s Homes and Physically Handicapped Persons, the benefits of the differential rate of interest are available to physically handicapped persons as well as institutions working for the welfare of the handicapped.
