மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கு திருமண நிதியுதவி வழங்க விண்ணப்பங்கள் பெறப்படுகிறது. இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் உடல் ஊனமுற்ற நபர்கள், பார்வையற்றவர்கள், காதுகேளாத மற்றும் பேசும் திறனற்ற மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளை திருமணம் புரியும் நல்ல நிலையில் உள்ளவர்களுகுக்கும், மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளை திருமணம் புரியும் மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகளுக்கும் திருமண நிதியுதவித் தொகை 25 ஆயிரம்

அரசு பணியிடங்களில் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு 3 சதவீத இடஒதுக்கீட்டை கட்டாயம் வழங்க வேண்டும் என சென்னை ஐகோர்ட் உத்தரவிட்டது. கரூரை சேர்ந்த சிவக்குமார் என்பவர், சென்னை ஐகோர்ட்டில் தாக்கல் செய்துள்ள வழக்கில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது: நான் தோட்டக்கலை பட்டயப்படிப்பு முடித்து வேலைவாய்ப்பு அலுவலகத்தில் பதிவு செய்துள்ளேன். 40 சதவீத உடல் ஊனமுற்றவன்.
