For the visually impaired, a proposal for special textbooks, Braille on the currency notes has been put forward. Along with that, 15 new Braille presses are to be established and revival of 10 existing has been announced.
The minister was speaking on the sidelines of the 13th national meeting of State Commissioners for Persons with Disabilities to review the implementation of Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
