Benefits for disabled government employees
Section-47(1) & 47(2), 48(c), 67(1) & 67(2) of PWD Act’1995 have following provisions to safeguard the rights of disabled Government employees and to ensure equal rights/participation.

National Scheduled Castes Finance Development Corpn
NSFDC is the apex organisation to finance income generating ventures of SCs and to provide grant for skill development programs through State Channelising Agencies . The NSFDC has various schemes / loan lending programmes such as Term Loan,Seed Capital Loan, Bridge Loan, Working Capital Loan, Micro Credit Finance Scheme, Mahila Samridihi Yojana etc. to BPL families as well as APL families.
Khadi Village Industries Commission
Village Industries of KVIC scheme having 95 types of industries are grouped in seven major groups such as Mineral Based Industry, Agro-Based and Food Industry, Polymer and Chemical Based Industry, Forest Based Industry, Engineering and Non-conventional Energy, Textile Industry (Excluding Khadi) and Service Industry. The KVIC has organised infrastructure for impar ting training at various level through 61 centres ( 24 departmental and 137 non-departmental).
Section 80DD – Medical Treatment of Handicapped Dependents
Deduction u/s 80DD can be claimed if you are incurring expenditure for maintenance including medical treatment of a handicapped dependent who is person with disability. The amount deductible is a fixed deduction of Rs. 50,000 whenever the conditions specified above are satisfied, irrespective of the amount incurred or deposited.
Save income tax using section 80DD and 80U
Every Indian Resident allowed deduction in respect of maintenance including medical treatment of a handicapped dependent who is a person with disability. The assessee must have incurred the expenses for the medical treatment, training & rehabilitation of a dependent (with disability) OR must have deposited the amount to LIC OR anyother insurer for the maintenance of dependent(with disability).
Special Education Schemes
Special Education is provided to the disabled children through 25 Government Special Schools, 58 Aided Special Schools, 182 Unaided Special Schools and Municipal Schools.
Star Special School
Star Special School is a rehabilitation centre for the mentally retarded, hearing impaired and the multiple disabled. The school provides different types of therapies including physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, yoga therapy, and music therapy.

பயிற்சியில் இணையதளம் அறிமுகம்,பயன்பாடு, தேடுபொறி, மின் அஞ்சல், வலைப்பூ உருவாக்குதல் போன்ற பயிற்சிகள் அளிக்கப்படும். இப்பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்க 18 வயது நிரம்பியவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் திருமண நிதி உதவித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் உதவித் தொகை பெற, மாவட்ட மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் நல அலுவலருக்கு விண்ணப்பம் செய்ய வேண்டும்’ தமிழக அரசு உத்தரவுப்படி, 2011-2012ம் நிதி ஆண்டு மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு மாற்றி அமைக்கப்பட்ட திருமண நிதி உதவி திட்டத்தின் கீழ் பயனாளிகள் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட உள்ளனர்.
