When a disaster strikes and we see news of devastation, we are challenged to spring to action to rebuild the lives of those whose life nature has turned upside down. While we respond compassionately, we are also to think and make sure that our compassion is routed through agencies that can actually make a difference to the people.
FANI, the deadliest cyclone since 1999 has hit coastal Orissa on 03rd May 2019. CBMs team wasted no time in springing to action and worked closely with the local authorities, ensuring populations affected have access to inclusive humanitarian assistance and protection. In Orissa, CBM has the rich experience of effective intervention in past two cyclones—Hudhud and Phaline. This time, will you help Orissa get back on its feet?
