Legal Aid Cell
There are many Deaf persons who face serious problems in life and don’t know what to do about it simply because they are not aware of their legal rights. When they are made aware of their rights, it leads to empowerment and this is the first step. DEF provides vital information to the Deaf about their rights, the laws that are applicable to them and about the provisions are made in the constitution to provide and protect them.
Matrimonial Assistance
Finding a partner for life is a very important matter for anyone and more so for the Deaf. It is for this reason that DEF provides the service of matrimonial assistance to the Deaf community. Through this service we are enabling the parents of Deaf persons to find suitable matches for their children. This service has been very well received by the parents and Deaf persons themselves.
Placement Cell
This year we were able to place groups of Deaf persons in various jobs. These jobs are at various levels, such as working in the shop floor and also white-collar computer jobs at large companies. Our trainees are involved in performing back end operations in Call Centers, they are also participating in online and offline (non-voice) operational procedures. This has given our Computer Training Centers a good boost and Deaf students are motivated to excel so that they too can also get good IT jobs.
ISL Orientation
We are happy with the increasing number of corporate houses and companies that are recruiting Deaf persons into their workforce. DEF provides an orientation for the Human Resources personnel of companies that are willing to employ Deaf persons. This orientation helps them understand Sign Language. It also imparts importance of Team Work and equal opportunities for the Deaf.
Referral Service for Interpreters
There is a need for a lot of Interpreters to bridge the gap between the Deaf and hearing persons. DEF wants to fill this need by providing a referral service for Interpreters in the cities of Hyderabad, Chennai and Vijayawada. These Interpreters are suitable for a one-to-one or on a one to a group basis. When a request is placed DEF would check the availability of the interpreters and respond to it.

I have finished my higher education (10th Standard and then have done ( Bechelor of Arts B.A) and (BPPDS Bechelor of preparatory programme for Deaf Student) Master Diploma in Computer Application MDCA) and (PGDIT Post Guaduate Diploma in Information Technology) I belong to poor family and unemployed.
I have Six years experience in working with hearing impaired in a school. i am families with sign language. YMCA KAMAK HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF, DESIGNATION :- COMPUTER INSTRUCTOR
