SUNIYE is an organization for Hearing Impaired children based in Sector 2, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. We cater to needs of Hearing impaired children from birth to mainstreaming. From oral early intervention to infant programme 0-3 years to preschool till 6 years and mainstream school goers, our Centre provides language and speech therapy to all. Established in 1995 the center is equipped with latest audio logical testing, programming facility for cochlear implant, hearing aids etc., mold making and FM connected classrooms.
Job Description
- EDUCATION: Nursery /Montessori training after class 12/graduation
- D.Ed. (SE HI) or DTYHI, DECSE (HI) preferable
- RCI affiliated is also preferred.
- Freshers may also apply
- Fluency in Hindi and English
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitating language in young learners through meaningful situations
- Assessing progress of the HI learners and preparing language developmental goals
- Organizing classroom and learning resources for positive learning environment
- Creating IEP’s for students with specific needs, home visits to new students
- Keeping update with changes, development in curriculum and coordinating with audiologist and support colleagues
- Maintaining discipline
- Feedback to parents about child’s progress on a weekly basis and in written bi annually
- Daily lesson planning and weekly feedback report about each child to the Director
