Important Date

Registration opens20th September 2019
Registration closes14th October 2019 post 6 pm.
Applicants eligibility information1st week of November

Eligibility Criteria

Individuals or groups applying for Entrepreneurial Idea Award – should fulfill the following criteria.

  • Individual or group applicant should be visually impaired 18 years or above.
  • Have a business idea or have a prototype ready of their idea or wish to scale their existing business.
  • Business idea should be solely an individual’s or groups idea.
  • Applicant should have conducted some research or gathered knowledge on their idea and have thought of various ways to make it sustainable.
  • Applicant should have 2 references, who can vouch for his / her capabilities.
  • Individual possessing any specific qualification or training relating to the business idea will be preferred. However, applications from individuals without any academic qualification are welcome too.

Application Process

Interested individuals or groups fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned above need to follow below mentioned steps.

  1. Individual or group having one of their members with visual impairment needs to carefully fill the application form below.
  2. Send below mentioned documents either by WhatsApp on 9820566010 or email to contact@voicevision.in latest by 14th October 2019, before 6pm.
  3. List of Documents to be attached.
    • Photo
    • Disability Certificate.
    • Permanent residence address proof.
    • Compulsorily references are required from 2 individuals with their contact details, known to the applicant.
    • Qualification proof if any.
    • Selection Process

Selection Process

The selection process of the awardees will comprise of three rounds.

  • Receiving, sorting the eligible applications.
  • Eligible applicants will be teamed with MBA Students from SIMSR (Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research). Together they will prepare a factual, (feasible) executable business model.
  • On the award day each team will present their idea along with the business model. Final awardees will be selected and awarded on this day.

Number Of Awardees

Three participants will be awarded, one being woman participant. In absence of woman participant, another eligible participant will be considered.

Award Comprises Of

  1. Knowledge of designing an executable business model.
  2. Mentorship.
  3. Cash prize or seed funding.

  1. Many requests by letters ordinary and register pmo office, resistance, social justice minister, president of India and governor of west Bengal. For 4% disabled people kinds of problems. I want a meeting time for all but any reply as a 80%disable person. So I want a meeting time for discuss problem disabled people.
