Camps for free distribution of artificial limbs and other aid for differently abled will be held at various places across the city from October 1 to 23.
Differently abled are requested to bring the original and photocopy of their national identity card and family ration card while attending the camp.
- October 1 : Muscular Dystrophy School in Thousand Lights
- October 7 : Chennai High Secondary School in Tondiarpet
- October 8: Chennai Middle School at Choolai
- October 9: Chennai Middle School in Perambur
- October 14: Chennai Higher Secondary School in Ayanavaram
- October 15: Chennai Middle School in Aminjikarai
- October 16: Chennai High School in Raja Annamalaipuram
- October 21: Chennai Higher Secondary School in Taramani
- October 22 : Chennai Primary School in MGR Nagar
- October 23: Chennai Primary School in Saidapet
The camp will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on all the days.

I C.R.Janakiram aged 75 residing in Besantnagar Chennai 600090. I , during my morning walk I am noticing an aged person by name Mr. K.Jamal , aged 61 years just living in the platform, near my house having a tiny cycle Repair facility in that small area. Last year he has got amputee of right leg until his knee and now he finds very difficult to manage himself alone. He Repairs the cycle and living without disturbing others. I would be very grateful and thankful if you kindly offer him an artificial limb, so that he would be able to move around . Your favourable consideration is very much needed and much appreciated.
