Good Life Centre is a registered charitable organization that functions as an orphan age home and rehabilitation center for physically and mentally challenged children. It functions to serve and provide shelter for orphans. The center is recognized by the government of Tamil Nadu. The center was established in the year 1996.
The center runs a home for orphans and mentally challenged children with support from a dedicated selfless team of volunteers, trained social workers, teachers and caretakers. Our main inspiration behind our every task is Mahatma Gandhi, Good Life Center serves the neglected children, orphans and people with physical and mental disabilities, irrespective of caste, creed and religion. The center started its working with only 3 children, and now it has crossed the number up to 72 inmates, including 40 mentally challenged children under its care.
Apart from food, clothing and shelter, the home provides value based education to the young children and vocational training to the older inmates. The children are provided with Rehabilitation programmes that includes special education, self-help skills, physiotherapy, speech therapy, music therapy and medical support.
Value-based Education
Good Life center is engaged in providing the value based education that helps in motivating the students so that they can take a step forward in their lives. We are running special programmes that help the children to learn and understand the basic concepts in a very easy way.
Physiotherapy
Our center has proper facilities for physically disabled children that are unable to move properly. Our physiotherapy center has specialized doctors that heal the body ailments and joint problems of the students. Proper massage by using special oils and ointments are used to treat them.
Music Therapy
Whether kids or adults, music is considered to be the best therapy to treat various body ailments. Good life center has the facilities to treat the disabled children by music therapy where kids are exposed to music which make them fresh and happy.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy is adopted for those children who face difficulties in speaking and delivering speech. We treat them by adopting certain mechanism so that children can speak and put forward their views.
