A special job fair is being organsied exclusively for the differently abled and SC/St Job seekers here on 23rd, September, labour minister P Rajavelu said here today(22 Sep 2014).
Talking to newspersons here today,Rajavelu said as per the direction of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guidence, of the Chief Minister N. Rangasamy the special job fair is being organised exclusively for the differently abled and SC/ST job seeker on the eve of the birth anniversary of Deen Dhayal Upadyay jointly by Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped, Coaching cum Guidance Centre for SC/ST, Puducherry Government of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment – DGE&T & Employment Exchanges/Special Employment Exchanges for differently abled, Labour Department, Government of Puducherry.
About 20 private reputed organisations of Puducherry and Chennai based Multi National Company are taking part to recruit the job seekers as per their requirements. For this special job fair, Physically challenged and SC/ST job seekers who were registered with the Employment Exchanges, Government of Puducherrry with the minimum qualification of 10th standard to Post Graduation level in any discipline including engineering Degree in the age group of 18-30 except visually challenged and mentally retarded can take part in the job fair.
