Applications are invited for the post of Chief Commissioner for persons with disabilities, Department of Disability Affairs under the Ministry of social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
Name of the Post: Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD)
Head Quarters : New Delhi
Pay Scale : Rs. 80000/- p.m (fixed) plus allowances as admissible to a Secretary to Government of India.
Age limit : Not exceeding 60 years as on 01.01.2014 and subject to S.No.8 hereunder.
Education Qualification:
Essential : Graduate from a recognized University
Desirable: Recognized degree/ Diploma in Social Work/ Law / Management/ Human Rights/ Rehabilitation / Education of Disabled persons.
Experience:
Should have at least 25 years experience in one or more social organization ( details in pdf)
Mode of Recruitment
The mode of recruitment to the post of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities is by Direct Appointment of all categories of person. If a person is in service under the Central Government or a State Government, he/she shall seek retirement form such service before his/her appointment to the post.
