Applications are invited form the Indian Nationals who are eligible for appointment to the following regular vacant posts with NIEPMD.

Job Number: 01

Job Designation: Associate Professor in Speech Pathology & Audiology

Number of Positions: 01 (One)

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39100 (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

Educational Qualification:

1. Masters’ in Audiology and /or speech-language pathology or equivalent with eight years’ Clinical experience out of which five years’ in teaching at Graduate or Post Graduate level and/or experience in research in the relevant field in Universities/Colleges and other Institutes of higher education.

2. RCI registration as professional.

3. Should have experience of computer applications in their dayto-day work.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Ph.D in the relevant field.

2. Experience in working with persons with multiple disabilities.

3. Published work in the field in reputed journal/presentation of scientific paper in conferences of National & International level.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 yrs

Job Designation: Associate Professor in Special Education

Number of Positions: 01 (One)

Scale of Pay: Rs.15,600-39100 (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs.7600/-

Educational Qualification:

1. Master’s degree with M.Ed., in Special Education or Equivalent.

2. Ph.D., in Special education (Any field of disability) or Ph.D., in Education with dissertation in Special education of persons with disabilities.

3. Eight years’ experience of teaching of education of persons with disabilities including experience of five years teaching at Graduate or PG Level and / or experience in research at the University/Institutions of Higher Education / National Level Institutions.

4. RCI registration as professional.

5. Should have experience of computer applications in their dayto- day work.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Experience of guiding research at M.Phil/ Doctoral level.

2. Experience in working with persons with Multiple Disabilities.

3. Published work in the field in reputed journal/presentation of scientific paper in conferences of National & International level.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 yrs

Job Designation: Rehabilitation Officer in Special Education.

Number of Positions: 01 (One)

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

Educational Qualification:

1. Master’s degree with B.Ed., in Special Education (MR)/VI/HI/Locomotor and Neurological Disorder / P.G., Diploma in Special education Multipl Disability – Physical and Neurological from a recognized University / Institution.

2. Five years’ experience of working in a reputed organization working in the field of disability.

3. RCI registration as professional.

Desirable Qualification:

Master’s degree in Special Education.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Job Designation: Programme Assistant (Claims & Bills)

Number of Positions: 01 (One)

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate from a recognized university.

2. Five years regular experience in dealing with the maintenance of Cash Books, Preparation of Bills, Claims, maintenance of accounts in a Central Government Organization.

3. Working knowledge in Computer Applications.

Desirable Qualification:

Working experience as Cashier in a Central Government Organization.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
