The National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) has been set up by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India on 24th January 1997. The company is registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 as a Company not for profit. It is wholly owned by Government of India and has an authorised share capital of Rs. 400 crores (Rupees Four Hundred Crore only). The company is managed by Board of Directors nominated by Government of India.
NHFDC functions as an Apex institution for channelising the funds to persons with disabilities through the State Channelising Agencies (SCAs) nominated by the State Government(s) .

I’m santhosh age about 45-years, Education Diploma in electronics, I’m 40%. Disabled person with polio. For my livelihood I have small signboard business in Bangalore from past 10 years which registered under GST and MSME along with small workshop, the said business establishment was built out of sheer dint of me, I would have been a very successful entrepreneur unfortunately till now im not developed in my business due to Finically poor, I have small family I’m the only bread winner of my family, my daughter studding in 11th class. Very sad to say in this nation disability person wont get any help from government sector or bank side, even in my above said business if I walk to customer place to explain about their project, after looking on my disability client slowly avoid giving me job, many time it happen to me after travelling very long distance to client place, what they think about my disability I don’t know , why they avoid to give me project after satisfying all my quotation price and Etc., this the reason my self I hide from client visiting before getting job in hand I try to maximum make conversation in phone or email with them most of clients gives me job only without seeing me. Some clients call me to visit there office I avoid going there place, I don’t have manpower to execute same, this the only reason getting me a bad Review from client in Google search. If I have my own machinery I can keep employees for client visit on there salary, 99% of my all jobs are outscoring to big companies, same way I cannot go more in future of this condition of competition, I have good skill in this sector but no back support of finance . My disability making me very backward in my grow of business, I don’t know how to explain the situation how all I face in my nation, even I not use to go to my daughter School, because she should not provoke from her classmates for my disability, it will hurt her in mentally I can understand as a father. Why disability is shame in this nation ? My father was Army man who was attain 1971’s Bangladesh war, he have every benefit from government till this day with high level of pension money he enjoying, his son I become disabled person, I can its due to his careless he not given me on time polio vaccination in his army’s free medical benefit, same nation nothing given to me , I used to pay to nation My small Income Tax every year in my small earning. If have some own machinery in my signboard sector I can provide 5 to 10 people employment , for this I approached banks for loan years of years I moved from pillar to post but all banks neglected. Now I request all of you sir and madam can you help me by giving loan about Rs.35 Lakhs to develop my business with latest machinery and good infrastructure service to customer , if i received the said loan i would have expand my business and would have contributed to the country by generating more employment, revenue in terms of tax and would have also risen in the society earning sufficient name, fame and money.
