NCPEDP has long believed that inclusion at workplace plays a pivotal role in the accomplishment of equal opportunities for persons with disabilities. Started as a discourse in 1999, NCPEDP launched the Helen Keller Awards to identify exemplary work towards the cause of inclusion. Over the many years, these Awards have come to be recognised as the most prestigious Indian benchmark for honouring people and organisations that have worked towards a barrier-free, non-discriminatory and inclusive India.
2017 will see the 18th edition of the NCPEDP- Mindtree Helen Keller Awards which are given in 3 categories:
Category A: Role Model Disabled Person
Category B: Role Model Supporter of Increased Employment Opportunities for Disabled People
Category C: Role Model Companies/NGOs/Institutions
