The following draft of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, which the Central Government proposes to make, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 100 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016) is hereby published for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the public;
Objections and suggestions, if any, may be addressed to Shri K.V.S. Rao, Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Room No 518, 5th Floor, Pandit Deen Dayal Antyodaya Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, 110003 or by email at kvs.rao13@nic.in.
The objections and suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period specified above, will be considered by the Central Government.
