Rotaract Club of Drishti, is an exclusive community development club for visually impaired, sponsored by Rotary Club of Madras Coromandel.
Drishti works for the development of the visually impaired community in technology concepts through Karna Vidya Technology Centre (KVTC), a non-profit organization promoted by it.
The objective of KVTC is, “Empowerment through Technology for equal opportunities in employment for the visually impaired”. It provides employability oriented certificate courses.
In order to create awareness about accessibility for the visually
impaired, Drishti supported by KVTC and in partnership with various other Corporate Outreach Organizations like CTS Outreach is organizing a One-day State level Conference on Accessibility for the visually impaired by 11th October 2014. The theme is
BUILDING AN ACCESSIBLE ARENA
Paper presentations were invited and received from IT Professionals, Engineering students, experts in NGOs, social activists and visually impaired student scholars. Around 20 papers on Accessibility are scrutinized and selected for presentations by the Organizing Committee of Experts.

- Accessibility in Website Contents
Drishti invites everybody who are interested on Accessibility and Empowerment for People with Disabilities (PwDs) to participate in the conference and get benefitted. The Entry is FREE.
