Calling all creative people to participate in 60 Seconds to Fame! all India one minute film competition on disability, a part of ABILITYFEST India International Disability Film Festival.
AbilityFest 2017 – India International Disability Film Festival is a bi-annual event. Its presents a unique and inspiring showcase of extraordinary films from around the world.

ABILITYFEST 2015 – THEME: “Coming Together: Hand-in-Hand” ; The all India one minute competition ( disability ) – 60 Seconds to Fame! was introduced as part of ABILITYFEST to creative thinking on disability issues.
Winners will be selected by a panel of eminent people, and a total of 2.25 lakh Rupees is there to be won!
Jayshree says she is optimistic about the proposed bill providing a “level playing field” to the differently-abled. “The Disabled Persons Act, 1996, could not satisfy the aspirations of the disabled and many of its recommendations were not implemented. Once the bill comes into effect, the disabled will be able to ask for their rights for an accessible environment. We are asking for equal opportunities, access to education, employment, recreation and transportation; for our rightful space in society,” says Jayshree.
