Department of Speech-Language Pathology, AYJNIHH, Mumbai is pleased to announce that a, 2 day Short Term Training Program on Post Cochlear Implant Speech & Language Intervention for Special Educators of HI from 27th August 2015 to 28th August 2015 at AYJNIHH, Mumbai.
The Objective of this workshop is:
- To review the speech and language development and errors in children with HI.
- To understand about cochlear implants and candidacy criteria.
- To understand various approaches for speech teaching to children with HI post cochlear implantation.
- To be aware about auditory verbal therapy.
- To be aware about trouble shooting and issues related to post CI
- To understand about curriculum for language facilitation in children with HI who used CI.
- To understand approaches for improving speech perception.
- To be aware of ADIP scheme for cochlear implants.
