Walk-in-Interviews for empanelment of Vocational Instructors in the area of mental retardation as guest faculty to work under the Skill Training Programme at NIMH Headquarters, Secunderabad and its Regional Centres at New Delhi, Navi Mumbai and Kolkata and Model Special Education Centre, New Delhi & Noida.

Essential educational qualifications/experience required for Vocational Instructors are as under:-

DVR(MR)/DVTE(MR) with Graduation with 2 years post qualification experience in the field of mental retardation.
Note: Post qualification experience will be relaxed in case of the candidates otherwise well qualified.

Remuneration: Rs.225/- per session (4 sessions a day i.e, Rs.900/- per day)

Terms and conditions:-

• Should have minimum 55% or equivalent pass percentage in the qualifying examination of the concerned discipline. The experience should be post-qualification from the date of acquiring the qualifying examinations.
• Though such guest faculty are engaged on session wise basis, most of them are required during complete office hours on all working days, i.e. from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. totaling to 4 sessions in a working day.
• Candidates willing to work may attend the walk interview duly completing the prescribed application format which is available on the Institute’s website along with documents supporting educational qualification, experience etc. and a DD of Rs.200/- favouring Director, NIMH as fee. No fee required in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
  • The period of engagement will be 6 months, extendable for further 6 months or till the completion of project whichever is earlier.
